Chocolate Truffles Made With Avocado & dōTERRA Essential Oils

These yummy truffles are quick and easy and made from avocado and chocolate.

- 1 small avocado
- 1 cup dark chocolate chips
- 1 tsp vanilla paste
- 1 pinch salt
- 8 drops Wild Orange essential oil
- 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (additional to coat truffles)
Melt the first cup of chocolate in a double boiler or in a bowl over a pot of hot water.
Cut the avocado in half, remove the stone and scoop the flesh into a bowl then mash well.
Add the chocolate, vanilla, salt and essential oil to the mashed avocado and combine thoroughly.
Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for at least an hour.
Melt the second lot of chocolate.
Scoop small amounts of the chocolate/avocado mixture and make into small rounds, then dip into the liquid chocolate until coated.
Place each one onto baking paper then refrigerate once all the mixture is used up.
