Chocolate Truffles Made With Avocado & dōTERRA Essential Oils

Ingredients
  

  • 1 small avocado
  • 1 cup dark chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla paste
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 8 drops Wild Orange essential oil
  • 1/2 cup dark chocolate chips (additional to coat truffles)

Instructions
 

  • Melt the first cup of chocolate in a double boiler or in a bowl over a pot of hot water.
  • Cut the avocado in half, remove the stone and scoop the flesh into a bowl then mash well.
  • Add the chocolate, vanilla, salt and essential oil to the mashed avocado and combine thoroughly.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate the mixture for at least an hour.
  • Melt the second lot of chocolate.
  • Scoop small amounts of the chocolate/avocado mixture and make into small rounds, then dip into the liquid chocolate until coated.
  • Place each one onto baking paper then refrigerate once all the mixture is used up.
